Soon entering into demo development, A Star Falls is an upcoming first person sci-fi horror game. During the pre-production phase of development, I helped to shape the direction of the mood and character of the game by creating a number of spec tracks. As the first one to be released, the "Title Theme" serves to embody the overall tone of the game as an intimate yet fantastical horror experience.
I recently took part in the Idle Thumbs Winter Wizard Jam, a two-week long holiday themed game jam which was a blast. I was fortunate enough to be a part of a very talented team that put together a game based on Downwell, the challenging retro mobile game. In our game, Downchimney Simulator 20×7 you control Santa as he works his way down various chimneys to deliver presents and acquire chocolate chip cookies. Along the way, you must fend off hordes of elves, flying smoke monsters, and the infamous Krampus as they attempt to slow your progress. I created a bunch of 16-bit era sound effects as well as chiptune versions of a number of classic Christmas songs.
Currently the game plateaus at around 9 chimneys, but it's quite a ride. You can check out the current build on itch.io for free, either in browser (in Safari or Firefox) or you can download it to play on your computer. Be sure to check out some of the other game jam games as well!
In the meantime, I'm continuing to plug away on the development for Outpost and A Star Falls. Looking forward to sharing some gameplay soon!
